Organic coffee sales benefit charities

FALLBROOK — When consumers purchase fresh, organic Crown Coffee, 10 percent of the profit will go to charities chosen by customers that range from ocean protection to children’s rights.

Owned locally by Fallbrook residents Charley and Lacey McAvoy and Joe and Mandy Arioto, Crown Coffee is gaining a national following and making a difference in the world at the same time.

“We want to see people who are working to change the world succeed, so at every corner we are trying to do the right thing,” said Joe. “We are not a nonprofit, we just believe that in doing good, good will come to you.”

In addition to being passionate about supporting nonprofit organizations, Crown is passionate about good coffee. They purchase the best beans from all over the world and have it in their members’ hands 10 days from when it was roasted.

Known for their bright yellow bags, Crown Coffee can be found at Major Market and Henry’s Markets and through the company’s online coffee membership at http://www.crowncoffee.com.
