Volunteer for Relay for Life

Individuals can make a difference in the fight against cancer by volunteering for the American Cancer Society’s Fifth Annual Relay for Life of Fallbrook on June 14-15.

Teams will form for this 24-hour event to take turns walking or running around the Fallbrook High School track to raise funds for much-needed cancer research, community education, legislative advocacy and patient services.

The event will include live entertainment, a silent auction and much more.

A kick-off party will be held at 6 p.m. on March 14 at Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 East Mission Road.

More than 75 percent of the money raised will stay in the community.

Survivors, committee members and volunteers are needed to make the event a success. To find out more about how to get involved, contact event chair Erin Walker at (760) 731-7837 or [email protected].
