John Hailey

John Hailey, 65, of Bonsall, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008.

John was born in Illinois but his family relocated to Vista, CA, in the late 1940s. In 1958 he graduated from Vista High School, where he was an all-star athlete.

John began his career as a well-respected plumber and builder with his life-long friend and fellow Vista High School graduate Bob Schuster.

In 1970 he married Sheryl Reynolds of Vista and they soon made their home in Bonsall, CA.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends here in San Diego County as well as in Colorado. His quick wit and keen sense of humor will be missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Sheryl.

A viewing was held on March 16 at Berry-Bell and Hall Fallbrook Mortuary. Graveside services were on March 17 at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
