Riverview hosting dinner program for women

A Woman to Woman Dinner is set for Wednesday, April 9, at Riverview Church.

“Ushered into God’s Presence through Prayer” is the topic for featured speaker Jackie Jansen, who majored in music at University of Arizona.

An accomplished violinist, Jansen has played in orchestras and string quartets. She is currently with the Inland Valley Symphony in Temecula.

Jansen enjoyed her role as a pastor’s wife for 40-plus years and, with her husband Al, spent five years as “clergy couple,” facilitating retreats for couples at Marriage Encounter weekends.

After meeting author Betty Coble in 1979, Jansen became trained to facilitate the 10-week “Woman, Aware and Choosing” classes.

Ladies are invited to enjoy a wonderful evening of fellowship, a delicious dinner elegantly served, a raffle and other prizes.
