Chamber introduces interactive calendar

FALLBROOK — The Greater Area Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce has created a new interactive community calendar for its Web site at http://www.fallbrookchamber.com.

Designed by George McManigle, the chamber’s calendar now displays an entire month at a time with multiple events listed for each day.

A user may click on any event and obtain a number of additional options, such as downloading the event into a personal calendar, printing the page containing the details of the event, sending a reminder of the event and clicking on various hotlinks which will take the user to the event’s or group’s separate Web site.

Groups have the option of obtaining their own section on the calendar and receiving their own password for easy access to update, change and add events.

To acquire this feature, event coordinators for high-volume groups simply add a note to their submission that they’d like more information on this interactive feature and they will be contacted.
