Supervisors accept $250,000 terrorism prevention grant

The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted 4-0 March 11, with Supervisor Ron Roberts absent, to accept a $250,000 Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program grant.

The funding will be used for the maintenance and support of the San Diego Regional Terrorism Threat Assessment Center.

The supervisors’ action established $242,500 of appropriations for the Sheriff’s Department on behalf of the San Diego Law Enforcement Coordination Center and $7,500 of appropriations for the county Office of Emergency Services for management and administration of the San Diego Regional Terrorism Thr...
