Hypnotherapy: one way of helping smokers crush the habit

Stop smoking in one hour, guaranteed. That’s what clinical hypnotherapist and smoking cessation specialist Sandra Bright, CHt, says.

“Since 2004 I have helped hundreds of clients stop smoking easily, quickly and naturally without the side effects of gum, patches or prescriptions drugs,” says Bright. “My passion is to help smokers stop smoking and add many quality years to their life. I guarantee their success at becoming free of the smoking habit.”

“She saved our lives,” says former client Coe Riedel. “I have been a smoker for over 31 years and my husband Bob for 23 years. We have tried many times before to quit smoking and we’ve never been successful. With Sandra’s help we have been smoke-free since February 2006.”

Marsha Brusegard, a two-pack-a-day smoker, recently quit after her session with Bright.

“I can’t say enough about Sandra. She has a gift,” says Brusegard. “I have smoked for over 30 years. Nothing could help me quit. I left her office and didn’t care if I ever had another cigarette again.

“I now go to the gym regularly and have more energy than I can ever remember having. Even my doctor couldn’t believe the change in me!”

Bright, a Murrieta resident, has a unique approach to helping her clients become nonsmokers.

According to Bright, the Smoking Cessation Program – based on more than 20 years of combined United Kingdom and American research in dealing with the mind – offers a 95-percent guarantee that clients will stop smoking in one hour.

The program offers the best of traditional hypnotherapy techniques and combines them with the new science of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), which takes hypnosis to the maximum level of effectiveness.

By transferring the pleasure of smoking to a healthier habit of choice – such as exercise, relaxation or drinking water – the desire to smoke is removed.

The program is easy and successful, says Bright.

“Through research, the main reason people don’t stop smoking comes down to one reason: fear,” says Bright. “Fear that they will put weight on, fear that they won’t be able to enjoy life or handle stress, fear that you will go through withdrawal or that quitting smoking is going to be too painful and difficult.”

How does hypnosis work?

As stated in the brochure describing the program, the mind works on two levels: the conscious and the unconscious.

In the relaxed state of hypnosis, we can communicate directly with the unconscious mind that controls our habits.

Almost everyone is hypnotizable; therefore, maintains Bright, anyone can achieve successful results using hypnosis.

“My mission is to help people regain their health and wealth,” says Bright. “It’s very rewarding for me to watch them succeed in their goal.” Bright can be reached at (951) 443-5083.
