Relay for Life volunteers sought

Individuals can make a difference in the fight against cancer by volunteering for the American Cancer Society’s Fifth Annual Relay for Life of Fallbrook.

On June 21-22, teams will form to take turns walking or running around the Fallbrook High School track to raise funds for much needed cancer research, community education, legislative advocacy and patient services.

More than 75 percent of the money raised will stay in Fallbrook.

Relay for Life is a 24-hour event that empowers the community to take part in the fight against cancer while honoring its survivors and remembering loved ones lost to the disease. Survivors, committee members and volunteers are needed to make this relay a success.

To find out more about how to get involved, contact Erin Walker, event chair, at (760) 731-7837 or [email protected].
