Weed abatement important

Disastrous grass and brush fires destroy homes in their paths every year. This is partly due to flammable vegetation growing up next to these structures.

CAL FIRE advises that the law requires a clearance of at least 100 feet from each building. Fire officials will be making inspections to check for compliance with state and local fire laws.

Now is the time to remove grass and brush away from homes. Be fire safe, not sorry!
