Adults

• April 3 and 17 – 9 to 10 a.m. – Computer classes for adults. Sign up at reference desk.

• April 10 – 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. – Book Talk meeting: featured title “Run” by Ann Patchett. Moderator Marlo Miller. Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission.

• April 24 – 11 a.m. – Community Read author luncheon. Featured title “Run” by Ann Patchett. Reservations required. Pala Mesa Resort, 2001 Old Hwy. 395.

All ages

• April 10 – 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. – Family Craft Night: bring the whole family to make a shrink plastic keychain or cell phone charm. Sign up at reference desk.

• April 17 – 6 to 7 p.m. – “Write Your Own Poetry” presentation by Steve Lavoie. Learn how to write and copyright poetry. Sign up at reference desk.

Children

• Tuesdays – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. – Grandparents and Books: read a story with Grandpa Larry.

• April 1 – 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. – “Make It and Take It” craft (elementary school ages): handprint butterfly.

• April 2 and 15 – 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Preschool storytime (ages 3 to 5) with Mary Stevens and her dog Gemini.

• April 10 – 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. – Paws to Read: read aloud to a companion dog. Sign up at reference desk for a 15-minute session.

• April 11 – 9:30 a.m. – Día de Los Niños bilingual storytime with Linda Whiteside. Mike Choate Early Childhood Center, 200 E. Mission Rd.

Teens

• April 30 – 4 to 6 p.m. – Teen Game Night: play chess and checkers at the library.
