Wood, Franz, Jones recognized for Rotary giving

FALLBROOK — Jack Wood, Bob Franz and Steve Jones were recognized for their advanced levels of Rotary Foundation giving at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Fallbrook.

All three are Paul Harris Fellows, which means they have given at least $1,000 to the Foundation, and each has advanced beyond that level of giving.

Club Foundation Chair Connie Fish, in her remarks to the club at the meeting, emphasized, “The ‘Rotary Shares’ 2008 motto is more than just a theme.”

She quoted Gandhi: “Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow men,” adding, “these individuals exemplify that message.”
