Featured softball players

Andrea Gomez and Amanda Costa are two enthusiastic members of the Fallbrook High School junior varsity softball team. These fierce competitors consistently show their Warrior pride.

Andrea, a freshman, has just come off the wrestling mats to play her first season of softball. Her teammates agree she is an awesome athlete and say they are encouraged by her dedication and ability to keep everyone laughing.

“Andrea is a highlight to the game,” says teammate Brittany Doherty. “Her playing is just amazing.”

Amanda is a sophomore, returning to the team for a second season. Her teammates say she always gives her very best and they enjoy her cheerful spirit and positive mindset. Her ability to keep her team focused and on point is remarkable.

“Amanda always has an awesome attitude and works hard every day,” says Emily Bryant, another returning player. “I think she is one of the most enthusiastic players we have.”

When speaking of these girls, coaches Padilla and Reynoso agree, “Andrea is an intense player and works extremely hard and Amanda is showing great improvement every day in her position in the outfield and has a lot of hustle.”
