Car Club supports Senior Center

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently presented a donation to the Fallbrook Senior Center.

The Senior Center provides a myriad of services for local seniors, including a lunch program, health screenings, legal aid, tax preparation, weekly pool tournament, book club, yoga and exercise classes, bingo, bridge and mahjong.

It also arranges bus trips to local casinos and other destinations such as Laughlin, Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.

Membership is open to anyone 55 or older. Visit the center at 399 Heald Lane or call (760) 728-4498.

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club, a chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America, is one of the biggest local clubs in the country.

For 43 years it has presented the Fallbrook Car Show. This year the free show will be held on the grounds of Potter Junior High School on Sunday, May 25.
