Mack to receive Soroptimist award

FALLBROOK — Soroptimist International of Fallbrook, a volunteer organization for business and professional women, will present their Making a Difference for Women Award to Mary Mack of Fallbrook at an awards luncheon on April 17.

The award honors ordinary women who, through their professional or personal activities, make extraordinary efforts on behalf of women and girls.

Fallbrook members join with almost 100,000 Soroptimist in more than 120 countries and territories to contribute time and financial support to community-based projects benefiting women locally and globally.

In addition to participating in the Making a Difference for Women Award program, Soroptimist International of Fallbrook helps women and girls with educational and vocational scholarships, donates funds to Sister Clare’s Home, Woman’s Resource Center and many more organizations.
