Lady Warriors defeat San Marcos 9-6

FALLBROOK- Fallbrook High School’s Lady Warriors softball team claimed victory over the San Marcos Knights the weekend of March 29-30. Momentum has begun to pick up and the girls are starting to show signs of strength and endurance.

Pitching was on point. Emily Bryant continues to show she has what it takes to dominate the mound. The Knights found it difficult to challenge her change-ups and fastballs.

Offensively, the Lady Warriors looked stronger than ever, making contact and sending the ball far into the outfield. Runs were scored in each inning.

The defensive players stood their ground and played a solid game to keep the Knights from coming back and taking the lead. The ladies brought their hearts and souls onto the field and left nothing behind, proving once again we have something to be proud of in these young ladies.

It has not been without sacrifice, tears and fight that these girls have grown into something so spectacular. This pre-season has been about 17 girls, strengthened by each other and their families, who are dedicated to building the future of FUHS softball.

The girls are looking forward to starting the regular season on April 7. They are anticipating continued growth and hoping to bring home some more wins for Fallbrook.
