Mary H. Valencia

Mary H. Valencia, 85, passed away April 11, 2008, in Vista, CA. Her daughter Charlene McNary stood beside her as she took her last breath and ascended into heaven. She was born January 19, 1923, in White Oaks, NM.

Mary was educated in Miami, AZ. She was a supervisor of a hotel near Disneyland until her retirement in 1979. She loved playing Bingo and going to the Skylight for dining. She used to “start the dances” back in the old days. She loved music and her family. She was a funny, good friend, mother and grandmother.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband Arnold B. Valencia.

She is survived by sister Lucy Rojas, Miami, AZ; daughters Liz Felders, Vista, Betty Hernandez, Ridgecrest, CA, Alice Hunt, Kent City, MI, Pat Holden, Ridgecrest, and Charlene McNary, Fallbrook, CA; sons John Enriquez, Ridgecrest, Rudy Valencia, Corona, CA, and Arnold Valencia, Jr., Show Low, AZ; 20 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

There will be a viewing from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 18, at Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary. Reception to follow.
