Angel Society funds benefit children's programs

FALLBROOK — Angel Society members Marnie Mifflin and Veryl Mitchell recently presented a $700 check to Fallbrook Garden Club members to be used toward the gardening program at La Paloma Elementary School.

Twenty Garden Club volunteers provide up to 700 hours per year of support for this effort.

The funds will be used to help expand irrigation in the greenhouse area and build raised beds and steps/walkways to the greenhouse.

This project is open to all students on campus as an after-school activity.
