Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce

“To support business and build a better community” is the Fallbrook Chamber’s mission statement. The Chamber’s strategies to achieve its mission are reviewed and improved throughout the year. In June the Chamber establishes benchmarks with the adoption of its budget and program plans.

What is being proposed and planned is exciting. We have gathered ideas for programs and services that the Chamber can provide which provide tangible benefits to our members.

• The Chamber and Fallbrook Networking group are joint-venturing a Wednesday morning at Denny’s – an open-network meeting.

• The Chamber and County Library are joint-venturing four seminars with business educators as the speakers.

• New resident receptions, where Chamber members represent the other organizations they belong to in Fallbrook, as well as their own business, to the new residents of Fallbrook who have moved in during the last 12 months.

• Brown-bag luncheon series of monthly gatherings to hear a 15-minute presentation and have a group discussion with topics like human resources current requirements, group health insurance trends and opportunities.

• Home-based businesses meet the Chamber – outreach to businesses based in residential settings. What important issues do they have that we can help with?

• Self help, the most effective tools to power business growth.

• Chamber considers adding shopping cart to its Web site. Sell products over the Internet. Chamber accepts payments while member ships the products.

• Chamber-organized 23rd Annual Avocado Festival April 19, 2009

• Chamber-organized 27th Annual Fallbrook Christmas Parade, Dec. 6, 2008

• Eleven sundowners at different members’ locations.

The 569 members of the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce are part of the unique Friendly Village. These people are the providers of goods, services and support for the hundreds of organizations and causes that make Fallbrook greater.

Your purchases from Chamber members provide the fuel they need to help the new group. We thank all of you who are part of the solution.
