FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Area Visitor’s Bureau has announced that in the January issue of The Cupertino Daily (a magazine covering the Silicon Valley) writer Mary McGrath penned an article entitled “Fallbrook: Undiscovered Artist’s Retreat.”
Excerpts from the article include, “Fallbrook is a rather undiscovered gem adjacent to the bustling California wine region of Temecula, reminiscent of an early Ojai. A sleepy little stop, Fallbrook is brimming with art galleries, wellness spas, boutiques, decent restaurants and even a few wineries. The art is affordable, and the galleries make you feel welcome.”
Of a visit to the Art Center at Fallbrook, McGrath said, “a local showing of artists was taking place, highlighting a sampling of oils, drawings, sculptures, photography and many mixed media places. I was quite impressed with the caliber of talent and the affordable price points.
“Around the corner, we dropped into the Art Campus, where kids and adults can take a myriad of classes, from sculpture, ceramics, drawing, as well as other disciplines.”
Visits to Brandon Gallery, the Wellness Spa, Garden Center Café, Fallbrook Winery and the Grand Tradition all provided a positive experience for McGrath, which she relayed to the reader.
