Car Club donates to prom committee

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club recently gave a donation to the Fallbrook High School prom committee.

This year, because of the devastating recent fires in which 38 students lost their homes, the committee decided to request donations from local organizations to allow all eligible students to attend the event.

The gala is scheduled for May 10 and will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. The prom committee is also requesting donations (MP3 players, stereos, DVD players, gift certificates, gift baskets and the like) to be raffled off during the prom. The funds will be administered by Josh Way, the school’s ASB director.

The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is holding its 43rd consecutive car show on Sunday, May 25, on the grounds of Potter Junior High School on Reche Road. This year there will be a new judged class for “unrestored” classics (25 years and older) and a Car Corral for the display of classics for sale.
