Diane Lynn Dunlap

Diane Lynn Dunlap, 57, passed away April 15, 2008, after a five-month battle with pancreatic cancer. Diane was born July 7, 1950, in Glendale, CA. She had resided in Fallbrook for 30 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Dunlap, in 2001.

Diane is survived by son Matt Dunlap, daughter Amy Bruski, mother Thelma McAllister, twin brother Dave McAllister, brother Robb McAllister and sister Nancy North.

Diane was well known and loved by the Fallbrook community. Most likely you would have encountered her at your nearest swap meet or local garage sale. She was an antique dealer whose business eventually evolved to a specialty of “Shabby Chic” furniture and treasures.

Some of her favorite things were her BFF Phyllis, Willie Nelson, casino hopping, treasure-hunting and anything pink and fuzzy. My mom felt that family is everything and I think she would like that to be her message passed on. I hope when you think of her, it makes you smile. Diane’s light will shine on.

Please come celebrate her light with us. We would like to invite all who knew and loved Diane to a memorial gathering at her home on Saturday, April 26, at 1 p.m. at 1758 Green Briar Circle. Contact Amy at (760) 728-1724 with questions regarding the memorial.
