Film Festival this weekend

FALLBROOK- More than 50 independent filmmakers are expected to attend Fallbrook’s first film festival April 25-27. The event will be captured for future episodes of “Life in California,” (Sundays, 8 p.m., Channel 12 Time Warner).

More than 80 films are being shown in four venues. A special screening of films made by Fallbrook High School students will be Sunday, April 27, at noon at the Mission Theater.

A Lifetime Achievement will be presented to cinematographer and former North County resident Tom Del Ruth, who worked on Clint Eastwood’s “Outlaw Josie Wales,” “Stand By Me,” “The Mighty Ducks,” “The Breakfast Club,” “Look Who’s Talking” and “The West Wing.”
