John Paul Muskat, Jr

John Paul Muskat, Jr. died in the afternoon on Saturday, April 12, 2008, at his home in Fallbrook at the age of 71 with his wife and niece by his side. Born on October 27, 1936, in Illinois, John moved to California in 1972 and settled in Fallbrook in 1986.

John started working in the printing business at a very young age and worked his way all the way up until he owned his own business, retiring in 2007. He loved fast cars, travel, fishing and most of all golfing. He was a great father and husband and a friend and mentor to many.

John is survived by his wife, Barbara; children John Muskat III, Joe Muskat, Jeff Muskat, Joy Ciolino, Judy Leslie, Jayne Vansworth, Nick Stoneham, Mathew Slevcove, Mark Slevcove and Michelle Slevcove; 14 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held Friday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at Berry-Bell & Hall Fallbrook Mortuary.
