Robert M. Hale, 83, passed away on March 30, 2008, at Tri City Hospital in Oceanside. Born May 3, 1924, in Minnesota, Mr. Hale was a resident of Fallbrook.
He served in the US Army Air Corps and was a motor officer in the Los Angeles Police Department from 1948 until his retirement in 1968. Mr. Hale’s hobbies included western handguns and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He is survived by wife Phyllis Hale, Fallbrook; son Donald Hale, Fallbrook; daughter Debra McClanahan, Fallbrook; grandchildren Shannon Cuevas, Temecula, CA, Tracy Lystra, Fallbrook, Heidi Spindell, Springfield, IL, and David Fischer, Escondido, CA; and great-grandchildren Ashley Morris, Fallbrook, Dylan Morris, Fallbrook, Dustin Lystra, Fallbrook, and Ava Cuevas, Temecula.
