'Get in the act' with Fallbrook Players

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Players Adult Division has been “on a roll” lately. They are in the middle of a very successful run of the monthly interactive dinner theater murder mystery “Audition for Murder.” This show has been playing to sold-out houses regularly at Dominick’s Deli.

Producer/director Mary Fry says, “We have had many requests to get the adult division of Fallbrook Players active again and we are having a blast. We are in the planning stages of some great new shows.”

Players will be starting the production of a second dinner theater murder mystery to be performed at a second venue. Script selection is in progress and auditions will be announced in the near future.

A cast of between six and 10 actors will be needed. Rehearsal and performance schedules for the murder mysteries are relatively light time commitments.

They are also planning their first production to be performed in the Mission Theater in many years. They plan to do the hilarious comedy “Noises Off” in the end of October. This show will need a cast of five men and four women.

There will also be a need for “back of house personnel” such as costumers, set builders, props master and the like. Auditions will be held in late July or early August. Due to the complexity of the show, the rehearsal schedule will need dedicated performers.

Anyone interested in participating in either of these productions is encouraged to visit the Fallbrook Players Web site at http://www.fallbrookplayers.com or contact Fallbrook Players at (760) 728-0998 or contact Mary Fry at (760) 723-2724.
