Stand with us against the quarry

We need you to stand up with us and be part of a “living sign.” Will you support our communities in saying, “No Quarry” and send our politicians a clear message that the people want to be heard?

Then, show up and help stop an open pit mine from turning this area into an industrial area. Help preserve our “quality of life.” Bring your family, your friends, your neighbors.

Event will be held Sunday, May 4, 1:30 p.m. at Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park, corner of Pechanga Pkwy and Deer Hollow, across from Great Oak High School. Wear orange hats and shirts if you have them. Hats and shirts will be available (for a donation) at the event. There will be entertainment, music, speakers and much, much more.

An airplane and a helicopter will fly over to take pictures and aerial photos will be available.

Mark your calendars! Event sponsored by Save Our Southwest Hills (SOS-Hills) and Rainbow Against The quarry (RATq). For more information, call Kathleen at (951) 676-6912 or Jerri at (760) 451-2413.
