We want unsanitized news

Thank you, Village News, for wonderful coverage of Fallbrook. The Sheriff’s Log is my favorite section. Crime is a part of this town. Over the last year, a heavy crime wave has washed over our citizens. We deeply appreciate your coverage of it and plead for more.

The April 17 issue of the Village News offers no mention of the shooting that took place in front of Carl’s Jr. on Friday, April 11, at approximately 6 p.m. The shooting victim was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head. Where/who is the shooter? Is he/she running loose? Is the victim alive? Why haven’t the citizens been alerted? All reality contains positive and negative energies.

Fallbrook is known as The Friendly Village. In order to keep it friendly, we need to hear the truth in print regarding our soaring crime problem. The truth helps us protect our families/neighborhoods and we can be the eyes and ears for our Sheriff.

I beg you not to sanitize our news. Give us the facts including gender, ethnicity and age. I’m looking forward to the next issue.
