'Geopolitics of Energy' seminar next week

Local residents Judith Wright, PhD and James Conca, PhD will be giving a presentation on “The Geopolitics of Energy” on Thursday, May 8, at 4 p.m. at the Gem & Mineral Museum at 123 West Alvarado Street.

Their recently published book on the Geopolitics of Energy provides “information to understand the complex interplay between energy technologies, politics, socioeconomics, population and the environment… This is a first attempt at an explanation of the energy crisis that is understandable by all readers, non-technical and technical alike.”
