Historical Society annual awards, more at potluck

FALLBROOK — The annual meeting of the Historical Society will have a new format this year. A potluck will be held Saturday, May 10, starting at 11 a.m. at the Rivers Interpretive Center (The Barn) at 260 Rockycrest Road.

The event will include the award presentations of Pioneer of the Year to Ila Driver and Vintage Awards to Roy and Linda Costello and Arlyne Ingold.

Greg Dehm will read an excerpt from his one-man play, “We, Reches.” This is a play Dehm wrote about the history of the Reche Family that may receive State funding for use at the high school.

The meeting will also include an election and revisions to the organization’s bylaws.
