McMillin inducted into local builder Hall of Fame

SAN DIEGO — Mark McMillin, president and CEO of The Corky McMillin Companies, has been inducted into the Building Industry Association of San Diego County’s Hall of Fame, announced Sandra Perlatti, who serves as both senior vice president of marketing and communication for The Corky McMillin Companies and chairwoman of the Hall of Fame selection committee for the BIA. Mark’s late father, Corky, was inducted in 1994.

Mark virtually grew up on construction sites and, upon graduation from San Diego State University in 1978, took on a leadership position within the family organization. As president and CEO, he participates in the strategic planning and corporate decisions for the entire organization, which includes home building, both commercial and residential land development, mortgage lending and resale home sales.
