Pamper Mom with Massage Studio's healing touch

Spring flowers are blooming in the Heritage Square Garden, making The Massage Studio all the more beautiful and serene for their special clientele. Breathing in the floral aroma is only the beginning of the rejuvenation and therapeutic journey at The Massage Studio.

Since its inception in 1989, this historical haven has strived to help people achieve a balance with their body, mind and spirit. “Our massage therapy really does aim to work with people more therapeutically,” said owner Lori Lang-Scott.

The therapy rooms at The Massage Studio provide natural, delightful ambience. Woody décor, sparkling candles, petite water fountains and soft music transport patrons to a place of harmony. “We provide an environment where people feel comfortable and safe,” explained Lang-Scott.

The combined use of aromatherapy, herbal hot packs and hot towels during a therapeutic massage adds more dimension to The Massage Studio experience. “We specialize in treating people individually; it’s all about them when they come to us,” said Lang-Scott.

Currently, there are six highly talented massage therapists at The Massage Studio. Along with excellent schooling, Lang-Scott seeks massage therapists who have a genuine calling to help people. “I look for massage therapists who have wanted to do this kind of work their whole life,” she said.

While The Massage Studio is a spot of relaxation, it is also a destination for therapeutic care. “More doctors and chiropractors are referring patients to us,” said Lang-Scott. “We are delighted about this because we like to work in conjunction with [doctors].” This special “teamwork” approach promotes better opportunity for rehabilitation for those with chronic aches and pains.

Be it a doctor’s recommendation or not, make no mistake that massage therapy is doing wonders for people. To name a few, massage has helped individuals with arthritis, back and neck problems, fibromyalgia, high and low blood pressure and diabetes. And of course, it’s a premium remedy for reducing stress.

Daily life seems to be threaded with stress these days and having massages can be the perfect antidote. “Everybody is so busy in this technological world and always on the go,” said Lang-Scott. “People are always available by cell, or computer, and that can build up tension in your body.”

The Massage Studio empowers their patrons by showing them how to develop simple, daily relaxation techniques. Breathing toward the center of the body, explained Lang-Scott, is a great way to eliminate tension buildup.

The Massage Studio offers 30-, 60- and 90-minute Swedish/relaxation, therapeutic and deep tissue massages. This establishment also offers wonderful scrub, mud and wrap treatments.

With all it has to offer, including products for sale and gift certificates for any of the fabulous treatments, it’s no wonder that The Massage Studio is the perfect choice for a Mother’s Day gift. A special treatment at The Massage Studio will rejuvenate and renew any mother.

“It’s amazing how one massage can make a difference in a mother’s life,” Lang-Scott said.

After all these years, Lang-Scott continues to love the work that she does. “There is not a day, in 19 years, that I have not walked around the corner of this building and felt so blessed and fortunate to be here,” she said.

The Massage Studio is located at 116 West Beech Street, Suite A, Fallbrook. Call (760) 723-8984 or visit http://www.massagestudio1989.com.
