HEAT girls basketball takes second in tourney

On the weekend of April 5-6, the Boys & Girls Club of North County HEAT girls basketball traveling team took second place in the Boys & Girls Club of Coachella Valley’s 38th Annual Desert Spectacular Basketball Tournament.
Coached by Andy Vanderlaan, Bill Hopkins and Amy Boren, the girls brought home personal trophies as well as a team trophy.
The Fallbrook Firefighters Association sponsors the North County HEAT girls basketball team.
