Art Association meeting May 12

FALLBROOK- The Fallbrook Art Association’s next general meeting will feature award-winning pastel artist, Judy Shoemaker, at 7 p.m., May 12, at the Hilltop Center, 331 E. Elder. Preceding the meeting, there will be an informal “Eat ‘n Critique” session from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. Participants in the critique are encouraged to bring one or two “paintings in progress” plus a snack or box dinner to eat during the session. Refreshments will be served following the meeting. The meeting and critique session are open to the public at no charge. Membership applications are available at all meetings.

Shoemaker, the member of numerous art societies, is a resident of San Diego. She developed a studio art program for the University of San Diego High School. She will conduct a workshop on pastels on May 18 in town as well. Please see http://www.fallbrookartassn.org for more information.
