Farmhouse changes owners, name, and menu

FALLBROOK - The Country Farmhouse replaced Farmhouse Coffee as of April 21, 2008. New owners Debbie Estrada and Fran DuBroy have not only changed the name but also the menu and operating hours. While they are still serving the coffee beverages and smoothies that Farmhouse Coffee was known for, they have expanded the lunch offering with more sandwiches and salads. The Country Farmhouse is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Estrada picks up a day’s supply of fresh baked breads and pastries from a French bakery in Oceanside every morning. Paninis are made with baguettes and, along with croissants, sandwiches can be ordered with a bread choice of French, sourdough or wheat baguette. Salad choices include Cranberry Walnut, Greek Pasta, and Caesar salads along with the Acai Bowl.

“Country warmth with a touch of international flair” is the motto that Estrada and DeBroy have given their new venture. They are located at 622 South Mission Road. Orders can be called in to save time (760) 728-6000.
