Ken's ribs on the menu for NC CERT meeting

North County CERT’s (Community Emergency Response Team) general meeting on May 14, 2008, will feature the famous scrumptious ribs prepared by Ken Price, NC CERT’s Planning Section Chief. The public is invited (free of charge) and if anyone would like to bring something else to complement the ribs, they are free to do so.

The pot luck will begin at 6 p.m. and the general meeting at 6:30 at FPUD, the Fallbrook Public Utilities District building at 990 E. Mission. At the meeting, current updates on the group’s projects will be presented and members of the Board and other volunteers who work with them will be introduced. There have been new folks joining CERT in their efforts to serve the community and each will offer a brief description of what they do.
