Lisa Mozzini Mc Dill, who enjoys being outside painting quickly and spontaneously, is one of the featured plein air artists at the AAUW Country Garden Tour.
FALLBROOK- As Mother’s Day beckons, locals and visitors can look forward to an artful treat. The Fallbrook Branch of the American Association of University Women will present their 13th annual Country Garden Tour of Fallbrook on Saturday, May 10, from 12 to 4 p.m. with seven wonderful gardens to visit. Not only that; there will be a plein air artist at each site painting scenes from their respective gardens and will have completed paintings for viewing and purchase.
Featured artists will be: Bill Riedell, Lisa Mozzini McDill, Fernanda Natale-Reynolds, Mary Mulvihill, Pat Saunders, Elizabeth Taft, and Shirley Calvert.
The tour starts at the Palomares House, 1815 Stage Coach Lane where merchants will have garden related items for sale. Tickets that are $20 at the door can be pre-purchased for $15 by calling Susan Nelson, (760) 451-9532. All proceeds benefit local student scholarships.
