House burns to the ground

A 2,800 square foot home in the 1100 block of Sycamore Drive in Fallbrook burned to the ground in the early morning hours of April 29. Officials from North County Fire Protection District (NCFPD) said the call came in about 2:44 a.m. and a total of 17 firefighters responded from NCFPD and Vista Fire Dept. The home was a complete loss, with value established at approximately $500,000. No injuries were sustained in the blaze. Officials said the owners of the home were living in a trailer on the property and preparing to remodel the structure when the fire occurred. The incident is currently under investigation.
