Wachtler, Proctor, Yanez play new positions

FALLBROOK- Lindsay Wactler, Maddie Proctor, and Rheann Yanez are this week’s featured junior varsity softball players. These girls are all learning to play new positions on the field and developing their skills rapidly.

Playing her first season as a Lady Warrior, Wactler has been utilized as a pitcher, shortstop, first baseman, second baseman, and in the outfield. She is a versatile utility player that makes great things happen for her team.

Proctor is playing her first year of softball and has shown she is willing to learn, always putting her best foot forward. Proctor is making great progress and displays a positive attitude. Her teammates say she is a real team player.

Yanez plays first base and outfield in addition to being a relief pitcher. She has the spark of a true Warrior and shows her team she can be counted on in a pinch.

These three players are supportive of one another and their team and demonstrate keen passion for the game of softball. The coaches say they are excellent examples of Warrior Pride.
