Jason Clay Peters

Jason Clay Peters, 36, a resident of Fallbrook for two years, passed away May 5, 2008, due to a vehicle accident in Riverside County. Jason was born July 20, 1971, in Choteau, MT.

Jason was employed by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (Perris station) for two years. He served in the United States Marine Corps from January 1998 to October 2006 and earned the rank of E-6.

During his military career he received numerous medals and awards for his service, including the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the National Defense Service Medal, just to name a few.

Jason is survived by his wife, Charlene Peters, Fallbrook; daughter Ellery Peters, Fallbrook; son Wyatt Peters, Fallbrook; parents Allen and Sandy Peters, Great Falls, MT; brother Justin Peters, Great Falls; and grandparents Alvy and Mary Brady, Fairfield, MT. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roland and Myrl Peters.

A memorial service was held on Monday, May 12, at The Grove Community Church in Riverside.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Riverside Sheriff’s Association Relief Fund (Deputy Peters on memo line), 6215 River Crest Drive, #A, Riverside, CA 92507.

Arrangements were handled by Acheson & Graham Mortuary.
