Good Samaritans return diamond bracelet

FALLBROOK — Juanita and Bill Sharp are Good Samaritans and Ann Logan says she is very grateful. The Sharps returned a bracelet that had very sentimental value for Ann.

About four years ago, Ann, the human resources director for Major Market, lost a diamond bracelet in the Rite Aid parking lot. The bracelet was a Christmas gift from her husband, Sam (co-owner of Major Market).

Although Ann retraced her steps and informed Rite Aid and the Jewelry Connection, where the bracelet was purchased, she hadn’t had any luck in locating it.

Juanita found the bracelet but did not know who it belonged to. She kept the bracelet in her possession and recently took it to the Jewelry Connection to have it appraised. When jewelry store owner Jamie Matthieu saw the bracelet, he told the Sharps who had owned the bracelet.

“I am so grateful for [Juanita’s] honesty and for returning the bracelet,” said Ann. “But then, you know, that is the kind of great people we have in this town – those who genuinely care about others.”
