A group of Zion Lutheran School
On Wednesday, April 16, 47 students from Zion Lutheran School participated in the 27th Annual Cross Country Invitational in San Diego.
More than 500 students, grades four through eight, from different Lutheran schools competed in the yearly event.
Zion had first place winners in both the boys and girls divisions. Jared Hegardt, eighth grade; Eric Kuhlmann, fifth grade; Gabriella Barbato, eighth grade; and Jalie Fransway, fifth grade, were the four students who came home with blue ribbons.
