Brian Dean Parks

Brian Dean Parks, 72, of Evanston, WY, died of kidney failure on January 20, 2008, at his home. He was a former resident of Alpine, WY.

He was born October 1, 1935, in Fallbrook to Clark L. and Mabel A. (Johnson) Parks and married Harriett M. Dair on June 28, 1958, in Vista, CA. The couple was married for 50 years.

Parks graduated from University of California at Los Angeles in 1959. He began working for Schlumberger as an engineer in California. He later worked in Alaska and Wyoming. He retired in 1978, then worked for Hoffman and Assoc. as a Realtor in Alpine.

He was a member of the RMEF, a past member of Star Valley Search and Rescue, past fire captain of the Alpine Fire Department and a member of the NRA. His interests included hunting, fishing, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiling and watching football.

Survivors include his wife, Harriett Marion Parks, Evanston; son Brian Armand and wife Francine Parks, Rock Springs, WY; daughter Julie Harriett and husband Gary Badura, Evanston; grandchildren Melanie and husband Heath Daley, Rock Springs, and Kyle and Eric Badura, Evanston; and brothers Larry Parks, Thousand Oaks, CA, and Leslie Parks, Shingletown, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Steven Parks and grandson Stevie Parks.
