Pittenger to be honored

A ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery, corner of Alturas Road and Clemmens Lane. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will be honoring Sgt. William Pittenger, a Medal of Honor recipient.

Everyone is invited. Guests may want to bring chairs, umbrellas and/or sunhats as it is usually hot.
