Laughlin trip cancelled, Sycuan trip now available

The Fallbrook Senior Center regretfully announces the cancellation of the planned trip to Laughlin June 2-4 due to non-participation.

Each trip has deadlines by the bus company and the casino. Also, a fairly large deposit is required on three-day or longer trips, which are non-refundable. The center cannot afford to lose deposits. Therefore, it is important to sign up as early as possible for each trip. If the organizers don’t have the required number of passengers by the deadline, they have to cancel.

Their next trip, on June 30, is to the Sycuan Casino in El Cajon, a casino they have not visited before. The cost is $25 per person on a deluxe bus and a $20 cash return to each person. They will show a movie or have jokes.

For sign-ups, call the senior center at (760) 728-4498 or Dee at (760) 723-7469. Anyone who has a player’s card for Sycuan should give their card number.

The departure time is 9:30 a.m. and the bus will leave the casino at 4 p.m. and arrive home around 5:30. They need 45 travelers for this trip.
