FALLBROOK — Hundreds of residents joined letter carriers from the Fallbrook Post Office to help relieve local hunger through the annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive.
Residents left nonperishable donations near their mailboxes and then letter carriers delivered them to the Post Office, where volunteers loaded a large pickup for delivery to Fallbrook Food Pantry, located less than a mile away. More than four tons of food items were collected.
