Golf Classic to benefit Warrior football

FALLBROOK — The Fallbrook Football Booster Club invites the community to participate in their annual Fallbrook Football Golf Classic, to be held at San Luis Rey Downs Golf & Country Club on Friday, June 6, beginning at 11 a.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Fallbrook High School football program.

New head coach Joe Silvey will be in attendance along with the Fallbrook High School football coaching staff. Additionally, the Booster Club is pleased to announce the attendance of special guest and NFL alum Billy Joe Hoebert. Hoebert played as quarterback in the NFL for seven seasons, beginning his career in 1993 with the Oakland Raiders and retiring in 2000 with the Indianapolis Colts.

The event, professionally hosted and emceed by regionally acclaimed Pin-Up Golf, will be a four-player scramble tournament. Player registration fees will include cart, green fees, lunch, awards ceremony, heavy hors d’oeuvres and no-host bar.

Activities will include Hole-in-One giveaways, a $50,000 shoot-out, a raffle and a silent auction featuring coveted prize packages such as dinner for four at the Turf Club for opening day at the Del Mar Race Grounds and fun cruise getaway packages for two.

Single entry fee for the event is $150 per player; group discounts are available. Non-golfers may join the awards reception only for an add-on fee of $35. Registration deadline is May 29.
