Renshaw should be recognized also

In your last issue [5/15/08], you ran a front page article congratulating Dennis Allen for his recent election as a delegate to the California School Board Association (CSBA).

Dennis certainly should be congratulated. The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) Board of Governors also voted for Dennis. But, the FUESD Board of Governors also voted for our current vice president, Anne Renshaw. With this election, Anne won her fifth consecutive election as a delegate to the CSBA. The Village News made no mention of Anne’s success.

Anne has been a “dedicated and faithful” member of the FUESD Governing Board for 14 years and has served as a delegate to the CSBA for 12 years. She has also served as an elected officer of the CSBA Region.

Anne has fulfilled her duties as a member of our district Governing Board and as both a delegate and an elected officer in the CSBA in an exemplary fashion. She also holds both the Masters in Boardsmanship and the Masters in Governance.

She has also served our Board in all its elected positions, plus serving as president of the Board at least three times. Her accomplishments are too numerous to mention in this short letter.

Maurice F. Bernier, EdD

President,

FUESD Governing Board
