FALLBROOK — On Wednesday, May 14, the Lang sisters, Makenna, 11, and Sophia, 8, made a very special donation. The sisters had waited until they were both able to sacrifice 10 inches of hair to donate to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children who are suffering from long-term medical hair loss.

The sisters had their hair cut at Ocean Waves Salon and left with their ponytails in a bag! It can take six to ten ponytails to make an individual hairpiece.
