BFLL to host Tournament of Champions

The Bonsall Fallbrook Little League (BFLL) has been selected to host this year’s Tournament of Champions for the eight leagues in Little League District 70, Bonsall/Fallbrook, Oceanside American, Oceanside National, Oceanside Valley, Camp Pendleton, Vista National and Vista American.

Each league is invited to send their No. 1 team from both the AAA and Major divisions to compete for the title.

The tournament will take place at Zeke Weaver Field on Ivy Street in Fallbrook June 14-22. There will be games Saturday and Sunday and two games each weeknight. The final game will be played on June 22.

The tournament format is pool play, with the best two teams advancing and single elimination after that.

The Bonsall/Fallbrook Major team won the tournament in 2003 and 2004.
