Evelyn Mae Baach

Evelyn Mae Baach, 84, passed away on May 31, 2008, in Fallbrook. Born on November 3, 1923, in Troy, NY, she was a resident of Fallbrook for 10 years.

A high school graduate, Mrs. Baach was a homemaker whose hobbies included dancing, music and creative writing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harold John Baach, on June 10, 2004; mother Lena Pearl Smith; father Lester Patrick Smith; and brother Edgar Smith. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Carol Baach, Fallbrook, Janice and Bill Hoffmann, Oak Ridge, NJ, and Melanie and Barry Rutman, Apple Valley, MN; grandchildren Dawn, Jill, Amy, Michael, Penny, Joseph, Lori and Scott; and great-grandchildren Brandon, Shawn, Matthew, Jessica, Kristen, Michael, Casey, Joshua and Tyler.

A Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on June 6 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fallbrook followed by a celebration of Evelyn and Harold’s life to be held in September in New Jersey and New York.
